Our Story

Born from Necessity, Built for Innovation

King Cole Kitchens was created out of pure necessity. As a family-owned and operated farm, King Cole Ducks set out to bring the rich, delicious flavor of duck to the world in a convenient, consumer-friendly way. However, as a niche protein, finding a partner to produce fully cooked, marinated, sous vide, smoked, or roasted duck products in small batches proved impossible.

So, we invested in ourselves, evolving our farm-to-fork business into something even greater—a farm-to-fantastic culinary operation. Our 15,000 sq. ft. artisanal cook plant filled a crucial gap in production capabilities—not just for us, but for others, too.

Very quickly, we found ourselves working with other proteins and forward-thinking food innovators facing the same challenge. Their ideas were bold, their products unique, but their needs were too specialized for large-scale production facilities. King Cole Kitchens became a home for delicious ideas in need of a place to grow.

Today, we specialize in artisanal batch production creating great food for a wide variety of customers throughout North America.
